FINDING TIME FOR PHYSICAL FITNESS AS A FAMILY

FINDING TIME FOR PHYSICAL FITNESS AS A FAMILY

No matter what your age and the ages of your children, get outside and take a walk in your local city parks, neighborhoods, and State Parks.  Family hiking is an excellent opportunity to connect and can fit any fitness level and age.  Here’s a link to Kentucky’s beautiful trails.  https://parks.ky.gov/things-to-do/trails

If you don’t have access to a safe walking path then think about things you can do around your home.  Fall is a great time to get the whole family involved in yard clean up and raking leaves.

There are many more! Check them out.

Other indoor activities include dancing and cleaning house to music.  Make household chores a game by timing each other to see who can get done the quickest.

Like the indoors better? Then check out these exercises for the family.
