Giving Tuesday

kNOw MORE, do MORE: Help Us Combat Diabetes in Kentucky

This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join the Kentucky Diabetes Network in empowering communities to take action against diabetes.

Through our “Know More in ‘24” campaign, we’ve made meaningful strides in raising awareness about type 2 diabetes prevention and health promotion. By engaging communities across Kentucky, we’ve connected with those at risk, supported families, and partnered with healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations.

But there’s still so much more to do.

Type 2 diabetes continues to affect thousands of Kentuckians, including our youngest residents. With youth obesity rates at alarming levels, the need for prevention is urgent. We’re committed to expanding our reach and resources, focusing on:
Engaging youth and families with meaningful, relatable content.
Strengthening partnerships with health professionals and organizations.
Increasing access to prevention programs and tools.

Your donation will directly support our campaign efforts, including community outreach, peer-to-peer education, wellness programming, and innovative campaigns like targeted social media and youth-led initiatives. Together, we can help Kentuckians know more so they can do more to prevent diabetes.

Be part of the solution. Help us make a lasting impact on the health of our communities this Giving Tuesday.

How KDN helps: Kentucky Diabetes Network takes a lead role in responsible diabetes care for Kentuckians through prevention, identification, management and education. Some of the primary services available through KDN are:
